LIFE Certificate in
Applied Clinical NeuroScience (100 hours)
Program Description...
The landscape of health care today is changing. The drugs that people seek to treat their illnesses are not effective and riddled with side effects. In Chiropractic, we have known this since the beginning, but now the public is starting to realize that they need another option. At the same time, our understanding of the brain and neuroscience is increasing exponentially. Chiropractic has always been about the health and wellbeing of the brain and nervous system, and today’s science is helping to prove that. The LIFE Certificate in Applied Clinical Neuroscience is meant to deepen your understanding of the brain and nervous system and use current research to help improve our message to the public. In the beginning of Chiropractic, D.D. Palmer restored a man’s hearing with the first adjustment, so we have always been about using receptors to change the brain and improve a person’s life. We will provide an in-depth review of the nervous system and demonstrate how to properly utilize the receptors in the body to affect neuroplastic change and improve your patient’s quality of life.
The program will be 100 hours of content spread out to fit your schedule. The first 50 hours will be on-demand videos that you can watch on your own schedule. The first 50 hours will cover the review of the basic sciences with case studies and skills you will be able to implement the following morning in the office. The next 40 hours will either be live on campus here at Life University or live streamed on the internet and will cover the neurological examination, as well as set the stage for Neurological Rehabilitation. For the final module, you will be required to be here in the clinic as we perform grand rounds on three patients. The best part is that the three patients will come from the doctors taking this program. We will select three patients for each grand rounds. As a group, we will work up a patient, design a treatment plan and begin treatment on them. Then we will show what home exercises look like and how to monitor them with your patient. For this last module, class sizes will remain small, less than 25, so we will have multiple dates for you to attend. This landmark certification will be limited because we want to make sure everyone has a chance to ask and receive answers to their questions, so sign up soon.
When you click on Sign-Up button above, you will be redirected to the NewKajabi sight that will serve as the host for the program. Once you create an account with them you will receive access to the content. In addition, you will be asked to join an email list. It is important that you opt in to this, as this will be how you will receive additional information about the program and receive updates on the future modules that are included with your subscription.
Pricing is $3,500 for the entire 10 module program and includes either in person or live stream for that price. In addition, you will receive the PowerPoint presentations and research articles that were used for the creation of the content.
